Inclusion and Disability Support Service
Our mission is to provide better outcomes for Lancashire children and young people with SEN and Disabilities (SEND), and their families.
The Core Purposes of The Inclusion and Disability Support Service is to provide one seamless integrated inclusion service serving districts and/or localities with the core purposes of:
• identifying, assessing and monitoring that the special needs and disabilities of children and young people are met;
• providing statutory special educational needs and disability support to children, families, schools and settings;
• commissioning and promoting positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND; and
• providing a traded service which enables schools, settings and interested parties to purchase specialist psychological, teacher and technical support to meet their identified needs

SEND IASS / Parent Partnership Service
The Parent Partnership Service is a statutory service that offers information, help and support for parents of children and young people with special educational needs.
The service has a role in making sure that parents views are heard and understood and that these views inform local policy and practice.

As a parent of a disabled child you may not know where to turn to or you may be trying to cope with a whole range of feelings, as well as being constantly exhausted from the physical demands of parenting. There is support out there.
